The Sunshine Kids and Prudential

Right now in the United States and Canada, there are tens of thousands of children who are living with cancer. They’re fighting the battle of their lives.

Along with their parents, their families, their doctors and nurses, there’s a foundation that’s fighting along with them - The Sunshine Kids! This international nonprofit foundation is completely funded by contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations. Unlike many other groups, The Sunshine Kids isn’t an organization that raises money for medical research. Instead it provides a service to these kids that is truly unique. Through its efforts and those of its supporters, The Sunshine Kids allows these kids to forget about hospitals and just have fun!

It allows these brave kids, who face the pain, depression and isolation of treatment everyday of their lives, to get out of their homes and hospital rooms and into the real world. The Sunshine Kids sponsors events every year, free of charge, for kids from hospitals across North America. Plus many regional events that allow these kids to participate in wholesome, healthy, outdoor activities with other kids just like them.

The medical staff at each participating hospital selects all of these kids. And in addition to paying for each child’s expenses, The Foundation also provides a staff of doctors and nurses who monitor the medical condition of each child during every event.

Throughout the year our local Affiliates participate in a myriad of fund-raising activities. And there is one very special activity that you can participate in whether you’re selling or buying a home.

You’ll get a special sign on your property letting people know you care, and when your house sells, your sales associate or broker will donate a minimum of $10 to The Sunshine Kids. As a buyer, you simply ask your sales associate to donate a minimum of $10 to The Sunshine Kids when you purchase the home of your dreams.
